What is EFM?
English for Missions is a three-month course specializing in both English language lessons and preparing one’s self for the mission field. We run classes 4 days a week, have practical application on Fridays, Bible Study / Devotionals every morning and work duties every day.
Our vision is to help you break down the language barrier and communicate with confidence. English has become the global means of communication, and this course is specifically designed to help you fulfil your calling and use your gifts in missions today. As well as foundational grammar and vocabulary topics, you will learn to worship, pray, read the Bible, lead a devotion and give your testimony in English. We want to see trainees released into further training and into the nations that God has placed on your heart.
Based on Isaiah 41:9-10, we see a gathering of peoples from every nation…
Our aim is to equip non-English speakers with practical and useful English. Based on Isaiah 41:9-10, we see a gathering of peoples from every nation, learning and growing together and then being sent off back into the world to proclaim Jesus, and act on God’s call in their life.
I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:9, 10
